Our #StartwithStandards campaign is LIVE!

With the recent announcement of NHS England’s abolition, the need for high-quality, standardised, and meaningful data sharing between health and care settings has never been greater. Seamless information exchange is essential in driving more efficient and effective care.

Through our #StartwithStandards campaign, we aim to educate health and care professionals, digital system suppliers and sector leaders about the role of health and care record standards in improving the quality of care, and encourage them to start with standards as the key step in transforming the system.

We would love you to get involved in the campaign by sharing our resources on your channels, such us various graphics, social media and newsletter copy.

Lorraine leaving

Changes at the PRSB

After 10 years at the helm, Lorraine Foley has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer of PRSB. Lorraine has taken the organisation from a start-up to an authoritative and influential standards body boasting 90 members representing health and social care. She leaves a track record of positive improvements in care through high-quality record standards, with people at the centre of our work. Frustrated by the slow pace of adoption of standards across the system, Lorraine was instrumental in establishing the Standards Partnership Scheme with software suppliers, resulting in a leap forward in getting standards implemented and into widespread use across the system.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Lorraine for her decade of dedicated service to PRSB and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

Our Deputy Chief Executive, Oliver Lake, will step into the role of Transition CEO, with Lorraine supporting the process to ensure a smooth transition.
