The year 2023-24 has been one of tremendous growth and progress for PRSB. We have accelerated the adoption of standards, achieving record levels of software supplier conformance while making standards smaller and easier to implement than ever before.
We've just published our 2023/24 annual report, highlighting our achievements in the previous financial year and sharing our vision and plans for the near future.
PRSB publishes a report on the future of digital health portals
Working alongside the Patient Information Forum, the PRSB consulted with health and care professionals, health and care service users, commissioners and suppliers to explore potential opportunities and barriers to increasing engagement for people with long-term conditions to manage their own care better using digital health portals. The project was funded by the Health Foundation.
Lack of public awareness, lack of integration in care pathways and digital exclusion were some of the barriers to access and use of digital health portals.
Check our report to see our findings and recommendations.
