PRSB has launched #CareAboutMe, to raise awareness of the About Me standard and how it can support better, safer care by ensuring people are able to share details about what matters to them, such as their needs and preferences for care. We want to hear about your experiences - get involved now and support person-centred care across the system.
We have been delighted with the initial support for the #CareAboutMe campaign. PRSB supporters have endorsed the campaign, with high profile figures such as National Data Guardian Dr Nicola Byrne lending her support, and several people have already shared their views and stories on About Me.
PRSB spoke to the importance of standards for social prescribing and data analytics, which prompted lively discussions at The Digital Healthcare Show. Link Worker, Sarah Moreton, presented on achieving joined-up care in social prescribing services, while our data and analytics panel hosted a session on why standards are essential for good data analysis.
Sixty people, across 13 professions, have joined the Professional Network and you can join them. The Network encourages professionals to lead on PRSB projects or contribute in other ways. The network provides a space for shared learning and it can contribute to CPD certification. If this sounds like something you want to be involved with, get in touch now.
PRSB welcomes Healthily to Standards Partnership Scheme
Self-care app, Healthily, is the latest organisation to join PRSB’s Standards Partnership Scheme. With a mission to help people take control of their care, Healthily were a natural fit for the scheme. PRSB has long championed self-management and we are excited to work with Healthily to achieve this.
PRSB implementation toolkit to help embed standards
Standards are made meaningful through adoption. In light of this, we have created our first implementation toolkit to drive adoption of the personalised care and support planning standard in community mental health settings. The toolkit was commissioned by NHS England and is targeted at transformation managers and frontline staff.
In May, we welcomed a flurry of new members: The Homecare Association, The College of Optometrists, Associated Retirement Community Operators, Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and Faculties in Scotland, Healthcare Providers Network, Association of Mental Health Providers and the Association for Real Change.
