PRSB featured at Leading Healthcare Innovation Summit
The Leading Healthcare Innovation Summit was a great success, featuring talks from clinicians, digital health professionals, health tech suppliers and social care experts. Topics covered included how we better use digital for ICSs, remote patient monitoring and shared care records, and PRSB hosted two sessions. Our Clinical Director, Dr Nilesh Bharakhada chaired a discussion on shared care records with national experts and our Chair, Professor Maureen Baker presented on the self-directed patient.
EveryLIFE Technologies' Chief Information and Compliance Officer, Taffy Gatawa, spoke at PRSB's February partner event on the company's journey to becoming a PRSB Quality Partner and the many benefits and lessons learned along the way.
The standards roadmap was the main topic of discussion at February's partner event, and featured talks from the NHS Transformation Directorate’s Tom Russell, and Taffy Gatawa of everyLIFE Technologies, and Oliver Lake on PRSB's work programme. Our March event will focus on end-to-end interoperability.
We want to hear the views of professionals and people on our draft shared decision making standard, which supports the process for safer, more personalised care. Take PRSB’s survey to ensure our standard is meaningful and usable across health and care.
PRSB is running a webinar on Thursday 17 March for people and professionals to tackle overprescribing in relation to transfers of care and to see if our eDischarge summary standard can be improved to reduce the risk of overprescribing.
