🎀Season's greetings from the PRSB!🎀
As the year ends, we want to thank our members, partners and colleagues from across health and social care for contributing to the success of PRSB this past year.
In 2023, we celebrated our 10th anniversary at St. Pancras in London, where we were pleased to see and connect with so many of our members, partners, and stakeholders. Thank you to those of you who joined us for this special occasion and celebrated with us, whether in person, online or in spirit.
We’ve welcomed more than 32 new partners this year, with a number of them going through conformance assessment for our standards. There is no integrated care without social care – and this is why we are particularly pleased to see a surge in social care system suppliers joining our Standards Partnership Scheme.
We are proud to have grown our membership and welcomed HIMSS, the College of Paramedics and Healthwatch on board. Their involvement in our standards development and various voices from health and care that they represent will be invaluable to our work in 2024.
This year, our Diabetes Record Information Standard was awarded an ISN (Information Standards Notice), and we are looking forward to the results of piloting the standard and sharing that learning so it helps others improve diabetes care through better information sharing.
In 2024, we will have a lot of important and exciting work to deliver including new and updated standards as well as work on implementing transfers of care, shared care records and our highly regarded toolkits to support adoption (such as the Diabetes Record Information Standard toolkit).
The new year will see the introduction of the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill, mandating the implementation of specific information standards – we will be here to support system suppliers and health and care providers in meeting the legislation’s requirements and complying with those standards.
Thank you to all of you – our members, partners, and supporters – for your ongoing commitment to us and the vision for better use of data and information to drive improvements in the safety and outcomes of care for people. We look forward to working with you in the coming year!
