Having accurate information on patient encounters in general practice is critical to planning the workforce and services, and improving people’s care. The PRSB is working on a project to improve recording of encounter activity in patient records to enhance data quality. The project aims to achieve consensus on a set of terms for consultation modes and care related activities with the ambition of building the terms into GP systems.
Share your thoughts on the proposed changes and your ideas on implementation – complete the survey by 8th March. It should only take 10 minutes to fill in.
The PRSB is aligning its standards to the new Pathology Standard (DAPB4101) going through approval at the DAPB in March. PRSB is starting a project to understand people’s experience and views on the use of patient portals
Patient portals are growing in number and importance as a means to empower people to take greater control of their health and care. By using digital apps or websites, people can get information ranging from test results, appointments and access to their care records. We are seeking to understand the benefits, challenges and barriers to the use of patient portals to ensure they deliver consistent, high-quality information to people. If you’re a commissioner, clinician or system supplier, we want to hear from you in our 10-minute survey.
